privacy & cookies
how we look after your information.
A short, plain-English notice about the personal information we collect through this website and the cookies it uses.
Who we are
Event Stuff is run by White Event Production Ltd, 4 Danbury Court, Milton Keynes, MK14 6PL. For anything in this notice, email hire@white-hire.co.uk.
What we collect and why
Enquiries and requests for quote. When you use the contact form or send a flightcase as a request for quote we receive your name, company, email address, phone number and the details you give us about your event and equipment. We use it to reply, prepare quotes and, if you go ahead, to provide the hire.
Account applications and client accounts. If you apply for an account we collect your business and contact details, the information and documents needed to assess the application and, once you have an account, your login details, your quote history and (where you provide it) your hired-in goods insurance details. We use this to set up and manage your account and to meet our insurance and credit requirements.
Emails. We send service emails about your enquiries, applications and accounts, such as confirmations, login links and insurance reminders. These are not marketing messages.
We rely on our legitimate interest in running a business-to-business hire service, on taking steps to enter into or perform a contract with you, and on legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Who sees it
Only our team and the service providers we use to run the site and send email and, where you ask us to provide a service, anyone needed to deliver it. We may share information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, or as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email hire@white-hire.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
